Learning to drive is one of the most dangerous activities a young person can undertake.  It is much more than learning how to make a car go and stop, or even when to go or stop.  Driving is an activity that takes place in a complex setting.  A typical example is a young person that goes to a friend's house one evening taking another friend as a passenger.  This simple journey could potentially expose the driver to a number of issues including:
